    Welcome

The Montrose Softball League Association (MSLA) is dedicated to the promotion of amateur softball for all persons, age 18 and older, regardless of race, creed, religion, sex, or national origin, with special emphasis placed on the participation of members of the LGBTQ community of Greater Houston. Our goal is to provide a sports outlet for individuals as a way to meet and interact with like-minded people in the spirit of friendly competition in an environment that promotes good health and fitness. The MSLA is divided into various divisions relative to a player's skill level and we also encourage the involvement of non-LGBT and non-playing members to support the many activities and beneficiaries the MSLA supports.

Welcome to the 42nd Season of the Montrose Softball League

By Cassidy Cryer 03/21/2021, 11:30am CDT

Good Morning Montrose Softballers!  It’s Opening Day!

It has been amazing to be able to get back on the field! After a year away, these past few weeks have shown how much softball really means to everyone. Softball has been the mechanism to bring people together regardless of race or sexual orientation. The MSLA will continue to be a safe space for everyone and be a shining example of #nohate.

It has also been exciting to see people from Houston as well as all over the country starting to get vaccinated against Covid-19. Even though we are on the right path, we must still remember to wear our masks, socially distance, and wash hands frequently.

As we start this season, we also remember those we have lost over the MSLA history and dedicate this season to them. Please take time today and have a moment of silence to honor those that are no longer with us but always remain in our hearts.

Good Luck to all teams this season and stay safe.
